                        USAccess Cards

                                Who

                              The Inspection Service is coordinating the 
                              issuance of USAccess Cards to select individuals, 
                              including Inspection Service Inspectors, Office of 
                              Inspector General (OIG) Special Agents, and a 
                              limited number of Headquarters Postal Career 
                              Executive Service (PCES) Managers.

                              Note: Only those individuals officially notified 
                              by management will receive a USAccess Card.



                                Where

                              The majority of individuals receiving this card 
                              are located within the Capital Metro Area; 
                              however, some distribution will occur to other 
                              areas of the country as applicable.



                                What

                              The USAccess Card will provide a highly secure 
                              form of identification that will be issued to 
                              individuals who complete the Homeland Security 
                              Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) application 
                              process.



                                Why

                              This initiative will issue USAccess Cards to 
                              select individuals in response to HSPD-12.
